I love puzzles. They are one of my favorite past times, and completing puzzles happens to align very well with my career. Like a carefully designed financial plan, you need all the pieces of a puzzle to fit just right for the picture to come together. Planning done well encourages disciplined and tax-efficient saving, prudent investing, and careful risk management. All these elements are independently important, but their coordination becomes crucial for the development of an optimal financial plan.

One of the most empowering things we can do for ourselves is to create a financial plan. Whether you are just starting out in your career or considering retirement, there is no better time to plan than now. The real world problem we all face, though, is that most of us have neither the time nor motivation. That said, the stakes are high, the topics are complicated, and decoupling emotion from thoughtful decision making is difficult. Equipping my clients with the confidence to navigate these important decisions motivates me every day.

After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BA in economics, I moved to Dallas, TX, where I begin my career working for various large financial institutions. Having the ability to meet clients where they are in life and being able to empower the next generation is what made me choose Resource Planning Group.
