John Howard, CPA, JD, CFP®Founder and Lead Advisor

The United States is a wonderful country! Our freedoms, opportunities and stability are unequalled. People who work hard towards their dream can achieve financial success.

These are my clients… my “middle class millionaires” who have succeeded through vision, discipline, hard work; good neighbors who are honest and caring. My passion is to help them understand their accomplishments and explore their financial options. Together, we travel a journey from uncertainty to confidence.

Together, we travel a journey from uncertainty to confidence.

I listen deeply to their stories. We laugh together to lighten the gravity of some of our topics. And, because I only sell advice — not products — I am proactive and responsive to their needs.

If you happen to have a family member with special needs, you and I will have a lot in common — both personal experiences and financial considerations.

John’s Personal Story

  • Civil War history buff

  • Goes fly fishing in remote rivers

  • Pals around with his seven children

  • Enjoys tidal marshlands of southern Georgia

If there is a theme to my life, it is to make it better. My children know me to say, “Just do the next right thing.” I am a perfectionist and an avid learner… and maybe that’s why earlier in life, I never really felt that I had learned “enough.”

After my first year of college, I dropped out and joined the army to learn about the world. Later, I continued my education through law school and three distinct careers. Now at the helm of RPG, I have finally discovered where my competencies best intersect with my passions. I am blessed.

Even with everything I’ve learned in my work life, I would venture to say I have learned more about being a husband and a father… and I’m not done! Jack, my second child (of six), has autism and very limited speech. He has taught me about grace, patience and compassion in a way I could never have imagined. He keeps me learning every single day.
